Portuguese Courses and Classes for Foreigners in Portugal
Our Portuguese Courses for Foreigners are designed for international residents, expats, professionals, Erasmus students and anyone who wants to learn European Portuguese for everyday life, work or study.
The courses are divided by official CEFR levels. Therefore, students can join the correct group according to their current knowledge:
- A1 – Beginner (50 hours): understand and use simple expressions and basic phrases
- A2 – Elementary (50 hours): communicate in routine situations; (minimum level for Portuguese citizenship applications)
- B1 – Intermediate (50 hours): handle most situations and conversations about familiar topics
- B2 – Upper-Intermediate (50 hours): interact fluently and understand more complex texts
- C1/C2 – Advanced: professional and academic mastery of the Portuguese language

50-hour courses: €384 (payment available in monthly instalments).
150-hour courses: €128 per month.
Not included: €40 enrolment fee (for new students) and course books.
Please do not make any payment until you receive our confirmation that the course will start on the scheduled date. Course start dates may be adjusted if the minimum class size is not met. A minimum of four students is required for a group to open. The maximum class size is ten students, therefore early enrolment is recommended to secure a place.
